Review: Wonder Woman vol. 1 by Greg Rucka

Wonder Woman By Greg Rucka Vol. 1 - Greg Rucka

Everything I dislike about Wonder Woman's uneven characterization is present in Rucka's writing, and the story itself only manages to be mildly interesting. Diana's judgmental, preachy and personality-less, the villain is a jealous woman who, despite calling Diana 'the supermodel' looks like a blonde knockout herself. And the other characters, well... if you ever wondered what it was like to be an aide at the Themysciran embassy, this comic is for you! Still not quite as obnoxious as Azarello's run, but close.
