Career of Evil - Robert Galbraith

So, I have mixed feelings on this one from the start. Rowling is highlighting the viciously misogynistic mindset of the killer, but in turning Robin into a victim/target, she uses one of the most sexist and annoying tropes of the thriller genre, that women can only have large, complex roles by being victims. This wasn't true of the other two books! Robin's part expanded so well in The Silkworm while simply making her Strike's partner. Guess it was only a matter of time? Unfortunately.
